How it works
The question is reformulated into several retrieval variants, and a follow-up is completed into a full query from the conversation context.
Hybrid retrieval gathers candidate passages, fuses the rankings, and can rerank the strongest evidence.
The answer is written from numbered passages, and each citation opens the supporting excerpt and names its source document.
A conversation can be scoped to a corpus or controlled tag when the answer should come from a specific body of knowledge.
When no current evidence is found, the passages do not support a conclusion, or relevant evidence is blocked from the configured external model, Ask EKOS refuses instead of guessing.
