Find the source. Ask with citations.
A research workspace over your governed document estate: policies, procedures, standards, regulations, and evidence. Two modes, one rule: the source is always within reach.
Direct Search is not Ask EKOS. That is the point.
Sometimes the wording is the work. Sometimes you need understanding fast. EKOS keeps the two modes distinct so you always know what you are reading.
Ranked source passages. Not generated prose.
Hybrid retrieval pairs exact keyword matching with semantic similarity, so a search for one phrasing finds the document that uses another. Filters narrow by corpus, controlled tag, and exact metadata. Every result is the record itself.
- You need the exact clause, owner, number, or definition
- You want exhaustive discovery across the estate
- Nothing generated should sit between you and the record
Different words, same concept. Both results are source passages: no generated text sits between the reader and the record.
Synthesized answers with numbered citations.
Ask EKOS expands your question, retrieves and reranks current evidence, and writes the answer from numbered passages you can open in place. Follow-ups stay in context. And when no current evidence supports a conclusion, it refuses rather than invents, which makes a refusal a useful signal.
- You want the synthesis first and the sources one click away
- You are exploring with follow-up questions in context
- You want an honest refusal when evidence is missing
Can contractors access production systems?
Contractors may access production systems only through a sponsored, time-boxed account approved by the system owner[1] and are excluded from standing administrative roles[2].
No supporting evidence, or evidence blocked from the configured model? Ask EKOS refuses and says why, so a refusal is a signal, not a shrug.
Every result opens into a governed record.
Search does not end at a snippet. Each document is a living dossier: current and historical versions, processing state, sensitivity, controlled tags, reviewed relationships, and the impact work attached to it.
Scope any search or conversation with corpora and controlled tags, so research runs against the right body of knowledge instead of the whole enterprise estate.

Bring your own agents. Keep one source of truth.
EKOS Search is exposed over the Model Context Protocol as well as REST. Your assistants and internal agents call tools like search_knowledge and rag_query through tenant-bound service accounts, and get back the same visibility-scoped passages and cited answers your people see.
Identity comes from the authenticated connection, never from a model-written argument, so an agent cannot talk its way into another tenant.

The same governed layer answers your assistants: bring your own agents over MCP, keep EKOS as the source of cited truth.
The Search workspace, capability by capability.
Ask your hardest policy question, live.
Bring a real document set and a question your team argues about. We will show both modes, the citations, and the refusal behavior.
